Built in 1914, this extravagant three-storey heritage building captivates 18th century
architecture. Lavish structural designs such as ornamented pavilions, a working clock-tower and bell,

Performance Works
Located in Granville Island, Performance Works is a theatre showcasing Vancouver's
talented performances and productions. It was built initially as a machine shop in the 1920s. Although
the exterior provides an industrial impression, the interior illuminates a sense of nature. The lobby is
furnished with a full-length glass wall, high wooden-beams, navy-blue walls, and a mural of a forest.
It accommodates 300 people for a reception or 240 people for a sit-down dinner.

Riverside Grand Ballroom Located in Richmond, the newly built Riverside Grand Ballroom offers a
luxurious setting. The exterior dazzles guests with a garden, waterfall, and a driveway canopy. The

Roedde House
Built in 1893, this restored Victoria home deliveries a warm and intimate setting for your
special occasion. The décor represents middle-class life with period furniture, paintings, artifacts,
and an Edwardian garden. The public portion of the house consists of a parlour, dining room, kitchen,
master bedroom, study, and a gazebo. Listed as a heritage house, it is located in Barclay Heritage
Square; a site that comprises nine historic houses dating from 1890 to 1908. The Roedde House can
facilitate 45 people for a reception or 12 - 14 people for a sit-down dinner.

Salons of the Queen Elizabeth Theatre
Located on Hamilton Street between the Queen Elizabeth Theatre

people. The 170 square meter main salon can be divided into two or three smaller rooms using soundproof

Scotiabank Dance Centre
The Scotiabank Dance Centre is a contemporary venue, with industrial fixtures,
located in the heart of the downtown business district and close to public transport. The 32,000 sq ft,
seven storey, glass-enclosed building houses five spacious studios and a production/performance studio,
administrative offices and other facilities. All six studios are two stories high with sprung floors
and air conditioning. Other features of the Dance Centre include a Boardroom with 16 chairs, table,
wipe board and pin boards, projector screen and telephone. Also, the centre provides an on-site
Scotiabank branch with ATM (on Granville Street) and Wheelchair access throughout except for two studios
on Level 4.

Shadbolt Centre for the Performing Arts
The community facility was built in 1995 to honor the renowned
artist of Jack Shadbolt and writer Doris Shadbolt. The centre offers two theatres, six studios,
rehearsal rooms, meeting rooms, pottery studios and an art shop. The architecture was built to capture
the beautiful natural landscape of Deer Lake Park located in Burnaby. Studio 103 has a 120-banquet
capacity with access to Deer Lake Park, a gas fireplace, and a beautiful park view. The two-storey
Atrium has a cathedral style ceiling of Douglas fir, stonework walls, and 25-foot windows. Both the
Atrium and Park View Lounge can host up to 250 people for a banquet.
