Major the Gourmet has exciting and important news to share with all our friends, families, clients and all interested foodies and website viewers. After almost 40 years in business, and after receiving the Prestigious Hall of Fame Award in the Pioneer category, from the B.C. Restaurant & Food Services Association, I, Owner and Guiding Chef of Major the Gourmet have retired. As such, I have passed the torch onto Mark Halyk, Owner and Guiding Chef, of Catered Art, to continue the legacy of myself and Major the Gourmet.
Now everyone is invited to go to Catered Art’s website www.cateredart.com . All photos, menus and events on this site reflect Catered Art’s same passion to continue the legacy of Major the Gourmet. These photos, menus and events still do belong to myself and Major The Gourmet, and hopefully this may lead to dusting off my shelved book “ Beginnings and Endings”!
