Each menu is individually customized to suit your tastes and budget. As the sample menus are based on a minimum of 100 guests, keep in mind that the cost per person will increase for parties of less than 100 people.
Full Bar: We can provide wine, beer, spirits, etc. with a minimum handling fee of $50.00, or 30% (whichever is greater) on the total order placed, and a 10% restocking fee on any returns.
Beer/Wine/Soft Drinks: Alternatively, we supply a more limited beverage selection, including red and white wine, premium beers, juices sparkling mineral water, soft drinks, etc.
All beverages are charged on consumption.
NB: Price quoted is based on a $15.00 bottle of wine.
Our staff is chosen according to the style of service required. Each staff member is required to obtain the Serving it Right certificate, Food Safe - Level 1 and Hepatitis A vaccine within 3 months of hire date.
Staff charges are based on a minimum of 4 hours (including travel time). The cost per guest will decrease as the number of guests increase.
We have available Martha Sturdy resins, silver and copper chafers, pewter and silver trays, and decorative items for your event. This fee covers the upkeep only.
We would be happy to arrange required rentals once your menu has been determined.
Dinner rental estimates include tables, chairs, linens, china, cutlery, bar equipment, etc. The price will vary depending on the quality and style of the equipment selected.
15% Service charge is applies to all the services mentioned.
5% GST is applicable on all products and services provided by Major the Gourmet.
7% PST is applicable only to equipment, flowers, props, decor, transportation and entertainment.
Upon confirmation of an event, a deposit of 50% is required 30 days prior with a signed contract. A non-refundable deposit of 5% (included in the 50% deposit) or $200.00, whichever is the greater amount, is required to reserve and confirm the date of the event. The balance is due upon receipt of the invoice.
A guarantee of a minimum number of guests is required 5 business days prior to your event. All charges will be based on either the total number of guests or on the minimum guarantee, whichever is greater.
Cancellations made within 5 business days of the event will be charged 100%. A refund of 25% of the deposit will be made for cancellations made within 30 days prior to the event
